Les Graines de bébé ne poussent pas toutes
Text by Audrey Alwett · Illustrations by Victoria Dorche · Foreword by the Planning familial (French family planning association)
A gentle picture book about the right to abortion.
“Your mum kills babies!” Outside school, a classmate says something that troubles the young narrator. Back home, at the foot of the family apricot tree, he asks his mother about it. With simple words and the image of trees and their fruit, she explains what a baby seed is, and why not all of them are meant to grow.
A book to open a conversation with young children, free of taboos and guilt, about respect for life and the freedom to choose.
